Getting closer

A high temp of 64 today, and between that warmth, and the crying skies ( I.E. rain) the snow is finally beginning to disappear.

A bit about me and why this blog exists

There was a time in my life when I had a real keen interest in photography. I had multiple 35 mm film cameras and even a medium format camera. I took a course locally and learned how to develop and print B&W photos. My intent was to build a darkroom, I even had gone on ebay and purchased most of the equipment. I procrastinated on both getting the ceiling in the basement room finished and getting the sink with running water hooked up. Now, digital was in, and film was out. I bought a nice Canon SLR and purchased a few lenses and other paraphernalia with the intent of taking bird photos. Change is a part of life, and life has a way of changing one's plans ... I have a few decent bird photos; but, I'm not doing any of the birding I did 5 + years ago. I still have an interest in photography; but, not enough to carry a large camera bag around with me everywhere I go. I do carry my iPhone with me everywhere, and it does have a (little) 3 mp camera ... this is what I will use for this blog. Nothing special, just photos for me.
