Here is the photo I grabbed on my return ... 5 beautiful Eastern Blue Bird (EBB) eggs. As of today, they have not hatched; but, my guess is that within 48 hours they will. I'll post those pics then.

Lapse
Well, I've done pretty well for the photo of the day for a long time ... the last post was on April 16, this lapse is because we left that night for 8 days in Italy, and I stopped posting because of access/connection issues. I've been back since last Sunday; but, it's been a catch up week .

Two eggs at this time of day means she started laying yesterday, should continue each day now for a total of 5 eggs.

Waiting for the other shoe to drop ...
This site is near a stop sign on the way to work. I have seen this shoe in this same spot on the church lawn now for several week.
